Keio University

Keio UniversityKeio University is one of the most distinguished and popular Japanese private universities. Many students from Tokyo Galaxy Japanese Language School have been admitted to Keio University. Keio Univeristy is located within 2 minute walk from our school. In addition to Keio University, Keio Pharmaceutical Department campus, Shibaura Institute of Technology, Toita Women’s College, and several famous private highschools are also located near our school.


Mita Library

Mita LibraryWithin three minute-walk from our school is Minato Ward Mita Library. At the library you may borrow CD’s as well as books and. you can also attend various library sponsored activities.

- Weekends: 9am-5pm
- Closed on Mondays and national holidays

- Movie screenings, social gatherings, AV concerts, etc. are held every month.
- Meeting rooms are available for various needs.

Minato Ward Sports Center

Minato Ward Sports CenterIt is located within five minute-walk from the school and has a swimming pool and fitness center . You can also enjoy various sports such as basketball, volleyball, badminton, karate, kendo, etc.

- Closed on the first and third Monday of the month, and from December 29th to January 3rd.
- Fees: 400yen

Shiba Park

Shiba ParkIt is one of the oldest parks in Japan and is located within five minute-walk from the school. During Meiji era this park was designated as the first public park in Japan by the government.

The park originally had a very large area including Zojoji Temple, but it is now split into two sections. In this old park you can see many great trees such as Velkovas and Gingko. Within the park there are some sport facilities such as tennis courts, and swimming pool, along with a large open space. The total area of the park is 122,000 square meters.

Tokyo Tower

Tokyo TowerThe tower, built in 1958, is 333 meters high and is one of the most famous sightseeing spots in Tokyo. The two observation platforms (one is 150 meters above ground, and the other is 250 meters above ground) provide beautiful views of Mount Fiji and Mt. Tsukuba, and many areas of Tokyo.

The illuminated night view of the Tower is also beautiful, and there is an aquarium and few restaurants located inside the Tower.
Tokyo Tower is located within a 10 minute walk from our school.
